Essential storage

Secure cookies and browser storage keep you signed in, carry your session between pages, and protect sign-in and account workflows. Local storage also remembers product state such as your connected league and team, notices you have dismissed, and unsaved drafts.

These are necessary for the site to work and cannot be switched off without affecting sign-in or security. They are not used for advertising.

Analytics cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies that let us count visits and see, in aggregate, which pages and tools are used and where errors occur. You can stop Google Analytics from recording your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising cookies

We show ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and to other websites, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure whether ads were viewed.

You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings, and from other participating vendors at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu. Google explains its side of this in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Embedded content

Podcast players from Acast and posts embedded from X (Twitter) load from those providers, which may set their own cookies when the embed appears on a page.

Managing cookies

Every major browser lets you block third-party cookies, clear stored cookies, or browse privately. Blocking advertising and analytics cookies does not affect how the site works; if you block the advertising script itself, you may see a notice asking you to allow ads, which you can dismiss. Blocking essential storage will sign you out and reset your saved league selection and dismissed notices.
