Privacy Policy

What we collect

If you create an account, your email address and sign-in details are held by our sign-in provider, Amazon Web Services, and we keep the session data needed to keep you signed in. If you connect a Sleeper account we store your Sleeper user id, username, display name and avatar, together with the league, roster, draft and transaction information Sleeper provides for your leagues.

If you subscribe to our email list we keep your email address, your name if you give it, and where you signed up. We measure whether each email is opened, so we can tell which issues are worth sending. Every email carries an unsubscribe link.

When you sign in or use account and publishing features, we write a security log entry that includes your IP address and browser user agent. Our hosting provider and firewall also process IP addresses to deliver pages and block abusive traffic. Page views, device and browser type, and approximate location are measured through Google Analytics, described below. We use all of this to secure the platform, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and understand which tools are being used.

How we use it

We use this data to run rankings, research, draft, trade, publishing and account features, to send email you asked for, and to protect the service from fraud, scraping and misuse.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we keep collection limited to what the product needs. The advertising described below does involve partners collecting identifiers through cookies, which some US state privacy laws classify as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out of that using the controls in the next section.

Advertising

Fantasy Football Foundry is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and to other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can read how Google handles this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

You may opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. To opt out of personalized advertising from other participating vendors, visit aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu. Opting out does not remove ads; it means the ads you see are no longer based on your browsing.

We do not give advertisers your name, email address or account details.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used: which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and where tools break. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to do this. You can prevent it from recording your visits by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Other services we rely on

The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services, which also provides our sign-in service. League data comes from Sleeper when you choose to connect it. Podcast players are embedded from Acast, and some articles embed posts from X (Twitter); those embeds load content from, and may set cookies for, their own providers under their own privacy policies.

Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site still works, although you may be signed out. Our Cookie Policy lists what each kind of cookie is for.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email thurmananalytics@gmail.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

We keep data only as long as it is needed for product operations, security, contractual obligations and legal or financial recordkeeping, then delete or de-identify it.

Children

Fantasy Football Foundry is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change how we handle data, or add or remove an advertising or analytics partner, we update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
